Common questions

Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancelling immediately stops future charges. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
What counts as a puzzle session?
Any session where you attempt at least one puzzle. Free users are limited to 10 puzzles per day across all sessions.
How do weekly personal puzzles work?
Connect your Lichess or Chess.com username in settings. Every week, Motif pulls your last 10 games, runs them through the tactic detection engine, and adds any missed tactics directly to your drill queue.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
The free tier is generous enough to evaluate Motif properly. A formal trial may be added later.
How does the Coach tier work?
You get one Coach account plus up to 30 student accounts. Each student gets a full Pro-equivalent experience you can monitor.
